The Iron Horse building C is located at the base of the mountain between Winter Park and Mary Jane ski areas. You can take the skywalk down to the main base area for Winter Park. The gondola allows for quick and easy mountain access. Our guests can ski directly from the skywalk to the condo for lunch or after the last chair from Mary Jane. On the 5th floor near the door out to the walkway is the ski locker room to store your gear so you do not have to take back and forth to the unit. We've transformed our spacious two-stall garage into a game room, complete with a bar top, pool table, ping-pong, pop-a-shot basketball, foosball, and life-sized Jenga. You'll also find a large screen TV and a fully operational full-size scoreboard. With a whiteboard and additional seating, this space can easily be transformed into a collaborative conference room for executive retreats.
The third garage stall is available for guest parking (including an electric vehicle plug-in). The driveway can accommodate up to 6 vehicles and provides room for trailer parking, ideal for your boat or recreational equipment. Please note that the driveway has a steep incline, which may be challenging in winter months, so we strongly recommend a vehicle with all-wheel or 4-wheel drive from late November through March.
Skip the Denver ski traffic, as we are just a short 20-minute drive to Granby Ski area and 35 minutes to Winter Park. Nearby, you'll find snowmobile trails, making our location perfect for ice fishing as well. Plus, the driveway doubles as a fantastic sledding hill for little ones, with sleds provided for your enjoyment.
Oh yeah, and why MOOSE Ridge? We almost forgot, but everyone coming here wants to see a moose, right? While we cannot guarantee it, we have personally seen moose right off our front porch on many occasions, and driving down to the Colorado river at dusk will certainly increase your chances!

The master is on the main floor and has a comfortable king size bed and a large ensuite bathroom. There is also a half bath on the second floor. The open floor plan great room is is a perfect place for gathering with family, eating dinner, and relaxing with a movie on the HDTV. There is cable with over 100 cable channels by Xfinity. While staying at this property, you will enjoy high speed internet. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all of your cooking needs. There is both a drip and Keurig coffee maker. The upper living room has a game table that is perfect for puzzles or a laptop and full size memory foam sleeper sofa. The enormous primary bedroom with is off of this upper living room and the king size bed takes up less than half of the space. This large, 3 bedroom, corner unit on 1st-floor of Base Camp One. You can step off the patio to the lifts of Granby Ranch. This allows you and your guests to ski in and ski out of the condo in the winter. You will also have very easy bike park access in the summer. You cannot get any closer! Base Camp One is centrally located in Grand County and is an ideal launching point for all of the great recreational activities available in our area. In addition to back door access to skiing and biking, you will be located very close to Golf Granby Ranch, Pole Creek Golf Course, Winter Park Ski Area, Rocky Mountain National Park, Hot Sulphur Springs, Grand Lake, Lake Granby, and Arapaho National Forest. These destinations are all located within a 30-minute drive of this unit.
